Wollongong's The Fights mix youthful, edgy guitar pop with rock 'n' roll melodies that can capture a room. Sam Lathlean (Vocals/Guitar) and Matt Baxter (Bass/Keys) thought up the band mid-2008, in the wake of previous individual bands. Joined by brother Shaun Baxter (Guitar) and Todd Simpson (Drums) the handsome quartet set about writing songs drawing from their joint and separate influences.
