They made their live debut the same month they formed at an infamous Brunswick warehouse party and for the past 18 months these upstarts have been terrorising the nation with their energetic live shows.

They have played alongside such acts as John Foxx (uk), Midnight Juggernauts, Regurgitator, Lost Valentinos, Damn Arms, Ghostwood and Mercy Arms.

They are currently locked away in a studio embarking on audio odysseys.

That's what I'm talking about - cool tempo and you could totally go nuts during the chorus then shake it back down to cool nonchalance!

Ooh, I like the keys and geetar in this one!

I also like how the tune is really upbeat and the lyrics are really miserable - very cool. Can't wait to check these guys out onstage :P

What an awesome song! Great beat, and do I hear handclaps in there?! Nice. Not going to be able to get this one out of my head, I can tell already!

Foxx on Fire are sure to go far. Catchy tunes you can't help but bop along to, fun, quirky and twisted lyrics... not to mention the fact they are a fine looking bunch of lads who know how to deliver the goods live!

They also make wicked film clips - go to their myspace or search for them on youtube. Crazy stuff that's sure to entertain, just like the rest of the package.

Not sure about the stutteringly off-beat chorus, but the rest of the song has the Cut Copy/Rapture thing down pat, and the whole package marks Foxx On Fire as perhaps the finalist most equipped for immediate success. Only question really is whether there's room for another band like this. We're betting the answer is "yes".

Suburban alienation with a burbling bassline, pleasantly analogue-sounding synths and Franz Ferdinand guitars! This one will doubtless go down a treat at a Streetparty night near you.

Catchy electro-pop = very "now". Foxx On Fire do what they do well, and the "Oh woaw woaw" chorus to this track is bound to stick in your head.

You have to love a good use of the synth.
You have to love a catchy chorus.
You have to love a song with a bit of depth; this is not just a one dimensional pop tune.
'This is the way we comb our hair, this is the way we breathe our air..'
This is the way to love Foxx, Polizia style.
You'll be singing along and stamping your feet to the irresistible beat on first listen.

Smooth and beautiful vocals are to be enjoyed on Nest Of Vipers, and the hint of darkness found on this track leaves the listener lingering in its mysteriousness.
I enjoy the support of the drums in the chorus too, where the song seemingly explodes after each verse.
Top live act too, you may see them pull some shapes as well..

A gorgeous, upbeat pop track that will get you bopping like no-one's business.
These lads ARE the love in the city.
