Five Questions with Sydney kids To The Throne.

1} List any big lessons you've learned since playing around the traps... {Maybe this can warn the peoples reading!}

 The biggest lessons we've learnt so far are that SONGS are the most important thing. Without tracks people can relate to; you're just another band.... Play them like you mean them, too! Make sure every performance counts - you don't know who could be watching.

 2} Strangest band related incident?

 Having some girls fall over our amps just to jump around on stage. We soldiered on; but it's hilarious to hear half of the onstage sound disappear.

 3} Which other bands/artists share your vision/ ethos?

 Not necessarily similar in genre, but great hardworking Australian bands like Midnight Oil and INXS back in their heyday. For one, they initially worked really hard on their live show locally and were able to fit the perfect songs to relate to the audiences. And these shows are still raved on about and remembered to this day!

 4} Tell us about any news coming up for you?

 At the moment, To The Throne are currently in pre-production for our debut album. Mainly focusing on demoing new tracks and working through ideas. Making sure it's something we're really proud of and represents our sound justly.

 5) If you had $15k what would you choose to do with it?

 A prize like this would go a really long way for a band in our situation. We'd be able to work with a great Australian producer for the forthcoming album and have the ability to tour and show what we're all about.
