Here at MTV laboratories we’ve been working hard scientifically selecting our favorite musical compounds from the 700 possible bands, so hard in fact that we are almost ready to pass the baton to you [the adoring public] to pick the overall winner of MTV Kickstart 2008!

And what a talented bunch our entries were this year, there certainly was no lack of incredible music floating around for the last few months!

As soon as the winner is selected this Friday 5th of September at the Oxford Arts Factory, the planets will align for the main event- The MTV Kickstart National final! The lucky six will go head to head on Tuesday September 9th at the our own live music hub The Lair!

The victor will be showered with praise and gifts including $15000 cash, media support and a VIP trip to the Aria awards including all flights and accommodation.

All this is amazing, but the best is yet to come. You’re invited to come along and witness this sweat soaked epic battle of good vs. better!
